ReDominator 1.5.0 contains two types of filters:
- ReDominator 1.0
- Alpha Juno / MKS-50
When ReDominator 1.0 was released there was only one filter, which is a 12dB/oct with an amount of filter drive.
ReDominator 1.5 adds another filter mode which is modelled on the IR3R05 chip featured in the Alpha Juno. This filter is a staged 24dB/oct response (2 x 12dB stages) with tracking stable resonance. ReDominator attempts to emulate this filter in detail, however minor differences in the cutoff frequency may still apply. This can result in patches sounding different on the different unit, and may require some tuning to match.
For any patches loaded from an Alpha Juno we recommend using filter type two.
